The menu for each Tea is different, but is always served with traditional Earl Grey tea. Each Tea also includes a short program highlighting either the season or an object from the Kelton House Museum collection.

The Kelton House is full of history and a very interesting place. Built over 150 years ago by Fernando Cortez Kelton, a prosperous wholesaler of dry goods and pharmaceuticals, Fernando and his wife Sophia lived an extravagant life. More importantly, this house also served as a stop for the Underground Railroad during the Civil War. The Kelton House remained in the family for three generations. When the last member of the Kelton family died in 1975, she entrusted the property to the Columbus Foundation with the condition that her family home be preserved and used for educational purposes. In 1976, the Junior League of Columbus renovated and restored the house and garden to create a museum of 19th-century life. In 1993, The Kelton House was officially adopted by The Junior League of Columbus.
