I thought it was a great show. Wasn't sure about Beltran's voice at first, but it grew on me quickly and I thought he (and the rest of the cast) did a great job. I didn't really have any issues with the ensemble dancers myself, but my wife had the same reaction you did - stilted dancing , distracting, etc. Nice writeup. I thought it was a great show.
