Who remembers where they were when they first saw Michael Jackson’s groundbreaking “THRILLER” video?  I do! (It was back when MTV actually played music videos…go figure!).

Well, hold on to your white sparkle gloves and get ready to see the “THRILLER” dance re-enacted LIVE TONIGHT at 11 pm on the streets in front of the historic Strand Theater in Delaware OH (Map).

To celebrate the official opening tomorrow of the new Michael Jackson concert film ‘THIS IS IT,’ the Strand Theatre is throwing a pre-premiere party tonight that will thrill any and all Michael Jackson fans.  The party starts at 10 pm, with music, music, MUSIC.  Yep, all MJ…..ALL NIGHT LONG!

The Delaware Area Career Center’s Battle of the Bands and Radio station MIX 107.9 FM will be on hand providing the tunes, and MIX will be bringing their prize wheel for added fun and excitement.

Then at 11 pm, the party crowd will take to the street in front of the theatre to dance to “THRILLER.” How many people can line E. Winter Street and act like a zombie?  Dunno.  I’ll be right there in the middle of it all, so I guess I’ll find out tonight!

After all of the music and dancing, comes the real reason we’ll all be there. The premiere screening of Michael Jackson’s ‘THIS IS IT’ will begin at midnight.  The film will only be in theaters for two weeks, and contains the last footage of Michael Jackson before his untimely death this past summer. After reading about it and viewing the trailer, I am SO excited to see and experience this film.

So why not come out late tonight to the Strand Theatre and join me and the rest of the zombies for a real “THRILLER” night?  Just tell your boss you’re gonna be a little late gettin’ in tomorrow.

Oh yeah….and don’t forget your white sparkle glove.
