All through October local comic book group Sunday Comix will displaying their latest artwork at Crimson Cup Coffee House. Titled, Comix from the Crypt, this unique show features the works of Jonathon Riddle, Bob Corby, Kira Keck, Matt Wyatt, Ray Tomczak, Michael Carroll and Max Ink. All of these artists are published through a local comic book publisher, Back Porch Comics.
Even more unique, the show will conclude on October 31st with a 24 hour comics marathon. The artists and their guests will each write and draw a 24 page comic book in 24 hours. For you non-comic geeks, this is a really challenging task; click here to read why. It’s a pretty cool display of drawings and I encourage you to check it out!
