The 2009 Torch Relay, Miles for Miracles, benefiting Children’s Miracle Network will run through Columbus on October 31, 2009 at 9:00 a.m. This coast-to-coast relay raises more than $1 million for hospitals throughout the country. All proceeds raised from the Columbus relay and from general donations will directly benefit Nationwide Children’s Hospital.
The 5k course starts at Livingston Park and runs through German Village. Anyone carrying the torch in Columbus?
You can become part of the Torch Relay by registering online:1. Go to site and select REGISTER button
2. Choose whether you want to join as an individual or join as a member of a team
3. Select Ohio and 10/31/09 – Columbus -5k
4. Enter your information and pay $15 registration fee ($25 day of event) for participants 12+
5. Use on-line tools to start accepting donations (suggested minimum donations collected is $100)
