When I was at the media preview party for Taste The Future, I overheard one of the organizers joking that it would be amusing to watch someone try to eat something from all 50 of the event’s vendors.
Excuse me, I shouted from across the room, is that a challenge?
Tonight is the 21st annual Taste the Future, a culinary showcase at Columbus State Community College to raise money for scholarships – every year the event helps hundreds of students build their future with a college education.
Fifty area establishments will be providing food for this event, including a few of my faves: Barcelona, Elevator, Mitchell’s Steakhouse, the Suisse Shop Bakery and many more.
Tickets are $100 – all proceeds go to the CSCC general scholarship fund – and can be purchased online or by phone (614-287-2436) and picked up at the door.
Support our local students and enjoy some delicious food.
Oh yeah, back to that challenge thing – which I happily accepted – who doesn’t want to watch me gorge myself from 50 different restaurants?
