The 156th Ohio State fair is just a couple days away. Since the Ohio State Fair is such a grand event I have decided to write several posts this week telling you about all the great stuff you can see, do and eat at the fair. This years fair will run from July 29th – August 9, 2009. For this first post I thought it would be handy to just give you the facts about the fair dates, hours and admission. So here are the facts.

Fair admission gates open
9 a.m. – 10 p.m., Except Aug. 9 (9 a.m. – 8 p.m.)
Commercial exhibit buildings
10 a.m. – 9 p.m.
K12/Ohio Virtual Academy Youth Center
9 a.m. – 8 p.m.
Janis Center
9 a.m. – 7 p.m.
Other exhibit buildings
9 a.m. – 9 p.m.
Gate Admission Prices
Adults (13-59) $10
Youth (5-12) $8
Senior (60+) $8
